Posted October 26, 2012. My caravan water supply system has been problematical for some time, constant delay in hot water at the tap with coughing and spluttering until the water came through. As I’m at home with some time available I thought I’d investigate and attempt a repair. Looking at the pipes I notice there is a non-return valve fitted.. Posted April 30, 2012. Hello there/. The non return valve needs to go on the inlet side of the pump so the pressure builds up in the water system but cannot get back though the pump to let the pressure dissipate. You could try taking the pump head to pieces, Its really quite straightforward if you take it carefully.

Oct 20, 2013. #1. Hi folks, We have a 1998 compass kensington, and recently suffered problems with a bad pump connection at the crystal inlet. This morning i have replaced the inlet using the Truma ultraflow conversion, which has now resolved my pump connection issue, but reading the instructions it mentions fitting a non return valve.. Our 2012 caravan with a brass pressure limiting valve cause me some grief earlier this year have owned the caravan a short had been away in it a couple of months before I hooked up to mains pressure to have a shower, I pulled this and tht apart starting from the caravan park tap, changed fitting on the hose, had the hose connected to the brass thing ground water would fly out of it.
